i asked the same a while back with not much response so tried them,my snakes seemed atracted to them and my corn would constently make his way up to it and just stay there right infront of the bulb and i got worried about this so stopped, but theres nothing to suggest that it's bad for them. |

I believe its Red that Snakes cant see, thats why most people use Red Bulbs at night time so they can still see them roam about, i think its JUST Red.. i dont know about any other colours |

I quite like the look of it and think I might try it when my snake gets to viv size. Cheers for all the replies

I have the exact same ones in my viv too. I think they're excellent. Just the right amount of light to see your snake in the evening by. |

Yup, they come with a variable power adapter (3v-12v) so you can adjust the intensity of the LEDs. I have mine on 6v normally but I switch it to 12v when a decent night time photograph opportunity arises.

I bought the Lucky Reptile Night LED's a couple of months ago and they are good but awkward to fit in a viv if you don't want to drill holes in the top (I ended up making a facia plate and putting them along one end). they don't appear to affect Monty at all as they are only just a bit brighter than the room light. |
