iv got a 6 month old corn snake and im not sure when i should upgrade to its final vivarium anyone know?

The rule of thumb is:

The width of the viv + the length = the maximum length of the snake

So if its too small, get the next size up.

exactly as per matty's reply
so as an example:
12" long + 8" deep = 20" long snake can live there happily
cornsnakes, ratsnakes, bullsnakes, boas and day geckos
