Hi and welcome to the forum The general concensus for a difficult shed is pop snakey in a warm bath. No deeper than half way up his body. Let him run through a warm towel to dry him and this will help remove any left over shed. Also check the humidity/temps in the viv. Many forum members have recommended putting damp sphagnum moss in the cool hide when they go into shed. I haven't personally tried this yet but I find a bath always does the trick. Always makes them poop as well Good luck!
do you think that my viv is enouph though i have wood shavings a water bowl and some rocks and bark built for the hide but the breeder told me put the warter bowl on the heat mat to help it but its not :S thank you anyway ..x
hi. i keep my main water bowl in the cool end when my snake is ready to shed i add another water bowl and put that in the hot end just to boast humidity levels
I have bathed it now and all the unshedded skin come off in the bath will it be ok now the reason why im calling it it is cuz i dont know what it is or how to find out or how old they have to be befor i can find out lol will it be ok now or not
as soon as i see my marmalade going blue, i 3/4 fill her cold end hide with spagnum moss she spends about 4-5 days pretty much in there then a few days in warm hide before she sheds, normally sheds nicely in one piece, just make sure eye caps an very tip of tail are off
