i'm toying with the idea of putting together a mini 1st aid kit to sell on here. i was thinking of including:
quick-stop matches {like a styptic pencil, to stop minor bleeding)
a pod of saline (for flushing a wound)
Tamodine (to apply to a wound)
amongst other things, possibly some F10, Nutrolbal, Reptoboost too.
basically supplying a small kit to deal with an emergency, or until you can get to a vet or rep shop for further supplies or treatment
would anyone be interested? if there is enough interest i'll price things up, saying you're intereeted isn't a commitment to buying!!

Good idea, however I'm not sure about the frontline though.

I was under the impression that you have to be licensed to be able to sell it because of the strength of it.

I'm probably wrong though.

I thought you could get frontline from pets at home?
Or is there a special reptile one at the vets?
I simply assumed you dilute the standard one.. Never really thought about it

thanks for the feedback everyone, sounds like it might be a go-er then
it won't be expensive as it's a small, basic kit to deal with an emergency (as i put in the OP)
so, for example, like Tamodine (antiseptic) i'd hate to think how many 'accidents' a snake would have to have to use a whole bottle of that up! but it's handy to have a smaller amount ready for if you need it.

i'll get back on here with a price, and is there anything else you can think of that might be useful in a first aid kit?

Maybe a brief write up of instructions so things dont get over used or used unnessasarily.

I'd be interested.

My only question is what is the shelf-life on some of the stuff like Tamodine? I've been fortunate that I've never had to use anything on Bubbles!
If you were to put up a kit that sat in a cupboard for several months, could it do more harm than good if you used it after its use by date?
