Really sorry to hear she had to go through that Matty, just sitting here thinking how painful it is for us to have stiches in muscle, and we have the option of not moving the area(s) where we are stitched for the most part, but a snake does not
Hope she gets on just fine from here on in, although from the sound of the injections for the infection it still seems a bit hard on her... poor darlin' |

Thats great mate! :)
Shaem to hear about the scar, but at least she's all better.
Will the scar disappear with sheds? Or will it become faint?
Sorry mate only came across this thread. :( |

Im not sure, I will have to wait and see as it heals. Either way it will cause some bother during the next shed.
Thanks for the comments all |

The blocked egg 2 days before the op:

The stiches after the op:

You can see that 2 or 3 of the bottom scales stick out a bit where the stiches are pulling them. That was the only cut made, but they managed to take all the eggs out from there.
The egg that got stuck is the one closest to the coin:

Cheers for sharing the pics Matty, i can see the first being used for what your snake shouldn't look like shot in future.

Those pics are shocking Matty. Poor Henry. No wonder she had trouble passing them. They were huge compared to her |
