Moe wasn't interested in his food the other day. I thought he was looking duller in colour, was *bright* orange when we picked him up, and today he is clearly grey and milky eyed; could this be why he wouldn't eat?

We were going to try feeding again tomorrow but guess we should wait now until he has shed?

Is there anything else we need to do for him?

Thanks!

Wait until he has shed to feed him. As long as there are things in his viv to rub against he should have no problems.

Just an idea Foley, it might be worth buying some sphagnum moss to help with the shedding as well. :)

For humidity, right? I've put an extra bowl of water under the heat lamp which I hoped might help with that.

Would I get the moss from a garden centre or do reptile places stock it? And could I put that right inside his hide? (he's not coming out at all right now)

Thanks for the suggestion :o)

if you're not expecting problems i wouldn't rush out to buy sphagnum moss for a damp hide but should you need it in the future a garden centre is definitely the cheapest place to get it

after the cloudy eyed stage the eyes will clear then he should shed within a week. when the eyes clear is when to increase the humidity. keeping corns in too humid an environment for too long is bad for their health
