i had the fright of my life just a little bit earlier...

i was holding smokey and he was being his usual self, all nice and calm then all of a sudden he just shot forward out of my hand. i had to grip him firmly but i dont think i hurt him.

i was wondering if the fact that i have my girlfriends milk snake in the room made him do this? could he have smelt her or something?

also, do you think he'll be okay? i managed to get him back into his faun, but i'm a bit worried about holding him again soon due to stress. if i gave him a day or so to chill he should be fine right? :\

Yep leave a day. and if he's roaming in the evening and no visible lumps and everything feels fine, he'll be okay.

Depends if he seem the Milk snake or not.. or some snakes just decide to go 'RUN AWAY' Mode. Noodle has tried to shoot outa my hands before. When you say stress. How long have you had him? If its at least a week then it wont be stress.. Maybe he just wanted to be a Houdini and get out of those hands of yours lol

Yea if youve had him about a Month it wont be stress... when you take him out sit on your bed or hold him over the viv this way he cant get any real damage... but i must warn you regards of whether he runs away or bites its 'vital' that you keep holding him coz Corns dont get the choice to be handled or not.. they just do! Lol
