Title says it, I'm nipping into town to get some more aspen and disinfectant, and clean out storm
So when the viv has been completely sprayed do i wipe down the disinfectant with kitchen towel or something? Is that the same with his furniture or should I leave his log in the sun to dry completely?
Also, do i disinfect his heat mat?
cheers |

I wipe the viv and heat mat with disinfectant and then again with clean, warm water and leave to dry. The logs and stuff I just wash in warm water unless they need a bit of spot cleaning and then its the same proceedure as above.
The only other thing I do then is check that the mat is still stuck down securely, the guard is still on the light Ok and that the silicon sealant around any joints is not coming off.
I give it all 10 mins to dry and then put it all back together again. |

I've got to admit I've never really thought about reptile specific stuff for cleaning. I suppose its 'cos I was a hard up student when I bought him and now I'm just hard up, or tight, depending on your view...

Cheers Yeah matty had problems with it before. I have leant it up against the side of the tank and rooted it in the aspen so if it falls, it falls onto the side just now. Had a peep at him after a huge hold lol making up for the 2 weeks missed
and he slithered up his plant checked out the gaps but didnt count on licking blu-tack lol! So i think he wont get out behind the background for the 3rd time |
