My snake Sneaky only seems to hang about in the coldest part of the tank. Is this normal? |

The hot end is about 30°C, the cold end about 20°C. He just ate two pinkies, and went straight back in the cold end. :( |

I have a thermostat controlling the hot end and 2 thermometres measuring the hot and cold bit. |

maybe he prefers the cold hide, have you thought about changing the end you're heating? |

or maybe 30*C is a bit warm for him, you could try turning the stat down a fraction to 28-29*C |

Mmmm... I'll try turning the stat down a bit then. And maybe put more hiding places in the hot bit? |
