i have had my corn snake for 2 days and i picked the one i got bc he was active but now he does not move around much is there anything wrong or is he just geting use to the new house
He'll be settling in, just leave him be for about a week. It'll give him time to relax after moving. If you just go into his home to do a water change, he should be fine in a few days.
But also, just in case; How big is the viv? How big is snake? what is inside viv? (hides,bedding etc) How is heat given to viv?
The tank may be slightly on the large size, but without dimensions it's hard to say. Can you measure for us please. Preferably Width x Depth x height in inches if poss, cheers.
It does sound like he's just settling in though, nearly all snakes have a little hide and sulk away for the first few days of being moved into a new home.
What sort of substrate do you have in there as well? What sort of lamp? is it a protected heatlamp? or just your everyday household bulb?
