I can't say for definite, but it may be some kind of neurological disorder. If so a trip to the vets might be in order.
How were the temps? Sometimes if a corn becomes too hot it can have weird effects on their brain function. |

I have two dumbo rats that do the head swaying and they do it because they have red eyes and cant see as well as the others that have brown eyes, im not sure if this aplies to snakes with red eyes, i suppose not as they see in thermol, just thought id mention it though. And if your snake doesnt have red eyes this has no relivence what so ever lol i would get him checked out by a vet, as Kazerella said , and a neurological disorder doesnt sound good. Hope he`s ok |

sorry, it'a a new one for me valentina, possible obstruction (digestive or respiratory) that's cleared itself (at least to some degree). a trip to a specialist exotic vet sounds like the best bet but try not to panic and let us know what the vet said |

i have read that they do suffer from respitory problems as a result from having 1 functional lung.my partner is reluctant to take sid to the vets as he fears costs will mount up. when he purchased sid and sally(brother and sister),the seller let us have the 2 for a good price because sid was the runt of the litter.very small and weak and not expected to live.but 2 years on and he is our best eater.im just wondering if maybe he is more subseptable to illness with having such a frail start in life.my partner is worried its the cleaner were using because thats all thats changed recently.its called beaclean and is suppose to be specifically for retiles.he is stil opening his mouth wide and swaying his head side to side quickly, any more ideas |
