HI there, it's that time again for frodo to shed. Last time his eyes went cloudy then cleared up with in two days then he shed that night just in time for his feed.
He is due a feed tomorrow. His eyes have cleared now. If he doesn't shed tonight should I still feed him a fuzzy tomorrow or wait until he's shed?

Cheers Brads

I would just leave him to it and feed him afterwards.

Well he hasn't shed yet and his last feed was ten days ago! (one fuzzy every 7 days)His eyes all cleared up, but have become clouded again the in the last 24hrs. Is shed close. Last time round it was much more straight forward.

If i were you i'd feed him. I don't really notice mine before they go into shed. every time shed is due they hide away. I still keep to my feeding rota and if i notice really blue milky eyes I leave them to shed which i normally wake up to one

You can offer, they'll take it if they want it. I wouldn't worry either way.

tartan used to eat even when seh was shedding. i used to find she'd shed better after she'd eatne cause the buldge would split the dead skin :)

when my snake shed earlier this month, i offered him a pinky just after he cleared but he wasn't interested. the next day he shed and the night after i offered him another pinky and he scoffed it right down :)

Hey guys, He's still not shed yet. I'll wait till wednesday which would be feed day all be it he missed last weeks as I thought he would shed soon. I dont want to go any further than two weeks with out offerig a feed. If I had known he was going to take this long I would have offered it to him last week on his scheduled feed. Anyways his eyes have cleared again for a second time....a bit strange..... so I'm hoping it will happen soon. This is all abit of a learning curve. Next time round if he is in the early stages of shed I will offer him his feed.

yeah that happened to mine, he went blue and his skin went kind of dull, then he went back to normal. a couple of days later he was pushing everything around his faun, i went to nose at him and he was halfway through the shed! :)

don't worry, if he hasnt shed yet, he will in the next few days
