Hi,
I have a 7 month old corn and she is a bit lazy when it come to the whole striking and constricting thing. Sometimes she strikes for the food other she just lazily opens her mouth and she has never constricted.
Any advise on getting her to be a little more active when it comes to strike feeding would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

When she gets a hold of it try keeping hold of it and wiggle the food as if its trying to escape and you will find that she will constrict. |

Hi,
She is being feed one small mouse every 5-7 days. I gauge the time between feeds depending on how actively she is looking for the next feed, once she has digested the last one. |

I have a little tug-o-war with mine every now and again - seams to keep them interested. |

Mine are very lazy. When I try wriggling the mouse they just seem to hang on and, like your noodle sit on it. Lmfao and normally just lazyily bite it. sometimes theres a strike only rarely though. lol

since my corn has got a little older hes started being quite aggressive with his strikes and the more you wiggle the mouse the harder and tighter he constricts which im pleased about :) |

I guess they get better as they get older and more used to what they can do with their bodies. Cassie is getting pretty good at constricting, though she has her 'lazy' moments |

Saying that though, feeding my boy tomorrow (as balboa is collected on Thursday) and he did strike last week and was so quick and unsuspected he was also squeezing the tongs lol. Didn't let him strike on the 2nd fluff though, would have had calmer feed to avoid regurge;
