Hey :)

I finally got rusty into a 3ft viv last weekend, and he seems to be happy in it.
I have a heatmat + stat & 60w bulb - so temps are 30c hot, 21c - these are ideal temps, arnt they?

Since I put him him, he's finally exploring everything today.. and has been roaming around trying to climb around knocking things over :P
Thing is, I don't really have anything he can properly climb.. Can any suggest anything? I have the snake vine, but its quite low.. and goes across the whole viv..
He keeps climbing up the glass and just looks like he wants to get out.. Is this normal, or is something bad? :(

Also, I bought a vivlock but i just can't fit it :S
The door jams in it :/
I've tried hammering it, but no luck.. Has anyone got one and made it work? :(

Cheers ^^

If the lock your talking about is the little metal strip with the sliding circle lock part you just have to hammer it straight, they are made for a different type of vivarium thats all, but if you put it on somthing hard(concret floor) and just bash it pretty hard it should straighten out(came take some effort though, had to get my dad to do mine lol) Hope this helps

I use a rubber wedge as well, they're about 80p. Won't stop kids sliding the doors open but will stop a snake escaping.
