i'm going to a lake for spring break i cant bring my corn snake and my mom and dad do not like snakes so they will not open the tank so can i leave my corn snake for 6 days if i feed it and give it new water before i go or what else can i do

ideally will want the water changing and oviously any waste cleaned up

You could ask your local rep shop to look after it,some do a lodging service,his water would probaly evaporate in that time or he might mess in it,where abouts are you?

i might be able to talk them it to pouring water in but they will not take the old water out and oklahoma

if you could just get the friend or someone to pop by each day to check on the water that would be fine... 6 days without food is pretty standard...

If your parents are still gonna be at home, would you be able to get a mate to go round there a couple times to check/change the water?

yeah i could get a friend to come by and my mom and day will fill the water but they will not take out the old water and they can do anything that does not make them open the cage they really dont like snakes

A lot of people don't, but getting someone to have to confidence to open the tank up and clean the water out will be the better choice.

Although the water would be best if cleaned I think the snake should be fine for up to a week as long as he/she doesn't poo in it.
I was away for 5 days with no-one to change the water and my two were fine when I got back.

If you really cant get anyone to change it, the next best thing would to be to place at least two water bowls in there in case tht happens.
