wouldn't recommend it either. egg-eating snakes are able to crush/penetrate the shell as it goes down to the stomach, corns aren't designed to do that and would probably struggle to digest enough of the shell to get to the contents of it.

AFAIK egg-eating snakes had sharp protrusions from there vertabrae in their throat. After breaking the egg ang swallowing the contents they eject the shell in a little parcel.
I wait to be corrected though if someone knows better.
I've heard eggs can be given to adult corn snakes as treats as long as they are fresh and whole. Corn snakes will occasionally eat eggs in the wild but captive corns might not see them as food items.
