i"m feeding ruby 2 pinkies tonight how long long after the 1st one do i feed her the 2nd? |

I usually give mine seconds when they have swallowed the first and moved it down their neck and into their stomach.
You will find that when she is ready to take another she will hunt around and tongue flick. |

| thanx both.Did just that and she took both of them. Gave both pinkies to her head first and she managed to turn them both round and ended up swallowing them tail first! I videoed the whole thing or so i thought but found out after i hadn"t pressed record- what a tit, never mind i"ll do it next time and try to post the video. |

| surely 2 pinkies are the same in mass as 1 fuzzy? SO if your snake is on 2 pinkies per feed why not just move up to one fuzzy, itl save you money |

| Yeah, fuzzies tend to have big heads in relation to their bodies and while some snakes can handle 2 pinkies, they just can't get their mouths around fluffs. |

| feeding 2 pinkies gets their gut used to bigger meals whilst the 2 pinkies are easier to digest than one bigger fuzzy. a young snake might take 2 pinkies per feed once or twice then go back to 1 for a few meals, when it's consistently taking 2 pinkies then move up to a fuzzy. |
