Crunchy Nut has always been fed by me, either in her feeding box, or on my living room floor/coffee table. Today, she done something that I haven't seen any of these ones do, it was amusing actually. I wiggled the mouse around in front of her, as normal, and moved it away slowly as if it was trying to run away, she struke for it, and took it out of my fingers, as normal. She then moved it in her mouth so she was holding it in the middle, and literally with a flick of her tail she turned round and basically just sauntered across the living room carpet and ended up on the rug in front of my fireplace then ate it.
I've never seen any of mine do that, I could of understood it if she moved to a more hidden or shadowy area, but she didn't. She just went about 8 foot across my lounge and planted herself down to eat, all the while carrying her mouse. |

It's just more cosy eating in front of the fire
Although, it sounds like she might have been moving away from you. Have you got a new perfume of something that she might not like? |

nope, nothing has changed. But where she ended up was in the general place i'd normally feed them. she looked funny though, carrying this thing in her chops around the lounge. Her head and neck were lifted in a little 'cobra pose' when doing this. |

You know what Jonb, my step-son said exactly the same thing. He commented on when my missus wants to watch something, she'll bring her food to where she wants to sit so she can see the TV. There must be something in it then. |
