i used to bath my corn snake once every week, usually on a sunday as i feed him on a thirsday and i used to do it mainly to help him poo his waste out. however recently he started wheezing and i wonder if the residue from the soap and shampoo in the bath had something to do with it, as you can never totally get rid of that residue in the bath. i havent bathed my snake for several months now. basically i wud say you can bath your snake now and then but not too often, makesure the temperature of the water is warm and try and get rid of as much soap residue as you can. and try and dry your snake with a towell when you have finished , you dont want to put him back in the viv soaking wet.
Yeah they don't seem to mind it. Have a look at my frodo pregression thread on the photo section. I have been putting frodo in the tub 48 hrs after a feed and he has pooed on the last two occasions
i used to wait another 24 hours after the 48 hours. to makesure he crapped the lot out. i just let him do it in the viv now, last time he done it in the water bowl which aint too bad as you just tip it down the toilet , clean out the water bowl and refill again lol
I can't say corns like baths, but I wouldn't say they hated it either though. I only do it after a bad shed, so very, very rarely for the corns. They are all good shedders
