okey dokey, hi my names ash im quite new to the whole snake thing, had my lil ghost tulula for about 2 months now.

thanks to reading your advice purchased a thermostat, however what is the best way to secure the probey end in place? sounds daft but tring to think as i know tapes not so good.

A heavy (ish) stone on the wire, just before the probe should do it.

If not, just rest it on the heatmat.

If the snake is in a wooden viv use a cable nail, if its in plastic faunarium, the snake will be small so is it able to move it much? Definatly dont use tape.

uhm shes in one of those glass exoterra vivs so glass. so yeah hopefully itll read temp properley its just the cables mega chunky lol. ive pinned it sort of with a rock hide thing she is looking rather annoyed that im tinkering around from up in a plastic tree.. and thanks for the welcomes and advice

gert stone hide and bark and temp seems to hold at 29.5c so fingers crossed
just got some photos too shes camera shy, shes also really intrested in mr laptop lol
