Is there anything that shouldn't be used? I've got loads of slate from an old fish tank and was thinking a potted pothos (devils ivy) or 2 might look quite nice.

Regarding the Devils Ivy.
This site says that it is toxic to herps.

Although this one says its ok as long as it is not eaten.

I personally wouldn't want to risk it.

Cheers guys :)

Intersting that one says pothos is toxic. I use it with my chameleon and it's actually widely recommended.

I think that because it's toxic to a majority of reps, but not all, it's been deemed safer to put it into the 'toxic' section, otherwise the list of different reps would be HUGE. .

But again, I have Ivy in my snake tank, because i KNOW they wont eat it, unless anyone feed their cornsnake on Veg. . But not in my beardie tank, they have a habit of eating anything green, mine even try to eat the plastic plants.
