Hi,
Only had my corn snake a few days so I haven't fed her yet but I have a query about when I do. I understand I need to take her out of her tank for feeding so that she doesn't ingest any substrate, however I've also read that a snake that's just fed should not be handled.
So, my questions is: Once she has fed how do I put her back in her tank? |

Its fine to just put the snake back in the viv, just make sure you dont cause the snake to bend or coil. |

its ok to handle her to put her back in, but you should be carefull and gentle. And not handle her then after putting her back in untill 48hr. |

or if you feed it in a tub, put the tub in the viv to climb out, or gently 'empty' the snake into the viv. |

Sometimes if you are lucky if you just out the tray next to the viv they'll crawl in themselves anyway. The first thing they want after a big feed is their own bed
but yes, picking your snake up just to place back in the viv is fine. |
