what humidity should my viv be and how to up it if needed

Corn snakes don't need a particular level of humidity, so try to keep it at a 'normal' level of humidity. (Someone more experienced can undoubtedly be more specific). Make sure its not too high though, then your snake might get a respiratory infection.

There is no need to alter the humidity for a corn. Normal room humidity is fine. As said above, more mudity can cause an RI.

I just keep mine around 40% dont let it get any higher.. 40% is just usually humidity from my room.. tho hes in shed so sometimes i bump it upto about 50-60% MAX

i don't even bother with a hygrometer (to measure humidity) for my corns as normal room humidity is fine.

cornsnakes, ratsnakes, bullsnakes, boas and day geckos

same here. I just stuff my snake's hide with spaghum moss around shedding period and assume thats enough, and both times she's shed whilst with me, its been perfect.
