What weight is the female?
Most people breed their females when they are at least 3ft long, 300g, and 3 years old. |

for the female snake's benefit go by the rule of 3 matty stated above. although male's can take breeding at a younger age than females as it's far less physical strain on their bodies. |

They do mature during their second year yes, but it's purely because of the effort on a snake to produce and lay eggs. A female could be mature and reproduce at 2, but it can kill her if she's not strong/large enough. imagine having a 2 1/2 foot snake thats 3/4 inch thick trying to produce 15 eggs nearly the same thickness as her body but about 1-2 inches long.
Hence why the rule of 3.

I was gonna say a similar thing, but it's not as dangerous to the health of the 'mother' so didn't think it would put the point across as much. But good point though. |

Not sure of an answer for your new question but regards breeding your corns.
They will almost certainly breed this year and produce healthy hatchlings.
BUT , there is a strong posibilty that the females health will be compromised. She might seem to get through the process OK only to have problems next time she breeds.
My advice is wait another year , at least
