and the other is about 3-4 years old and about 4-5 ft (not sure on sex also).
just that my dad said he saw the biggest one chase after the small one and they curled up into a ball and just messing about for about 10-15 mins and im mythed thinking what it could be :S i mean they never use to do it so why now?

is this a sign of breeding please help im really confused!

Could be, your best bet would be too get them both sexed by an expert (call your local rep shop they will usually do it free for customers but you may need to book a time slot during the week as weekends they're often too busy). If the smaller snake is female and the larger one male you'll have to split them up as she's way too young to bread safely if it's the other way round it depends if you want to bread or not really.

the chasing round the viv sounds about right but then the male usually coils his tail around the female who has a pointed up tail, rather than rolling round in a ball............. could potentially be two males fighting. as there's quite a difference in size, cohabiting/viv sharing could cause a variety problems

Don't know of any snake experts down your way - but my recommendation is to separate them ... If the younger one is the female as said above It may have problems as it is too young. If they are both males and are fighting the younger may be killed... It's not worth the risk.

Dont have any experiance with them (google is a wonderful thing) but here's an address of a vet who advertise as having reptile experiance.

Colne Valley Vet Practice

Rep vet is Mr Bennet.

I'd also really suggest split them up at this point, it's not worth the risk as this behavior is not normal. here a quite a few vivs in essex on e-bay at the mo - so could be worth a look on there. These are a couple i found within 10 miles of colchester town halls postcode.

Hope some of that is useful to you.
