Hi,
I'm worried about my corn, Ive only had her just over a week now. A couple of days ago i noticed what looks like dirt inside her nostril. I'm not sure if it has been there all along! Ive tried bathing her to see if it will wash away but it doesn't work. I'm hoping it's not mites. I don't want to start prodding her to try to get it out in case i hurt her. I'm worried in case it will cause breathing problems for her in the future. Has any of you got any advice please?

Or could it just be a simple marking on her??

Any chance of some pics of it? What substrate are you using?

I've been tryin to take photo's but the camera aint that good for something so small. I've had a magnifying glass over her and it is definitely not mites.. i use medium aspen in her tank and she also has moss in her hide. I just don't know how to remove the dirt from her nostril!
Hopefully it should go within time by itself

Perhaps a little nosebleed or knowing corn snakes even some poo from slithering over it. It should come out fine by itself, it would be dangerous for such a small corn if you tried to remove it yourself.
If its not showing any irritation (head rubbing, head shaking etc) I would just leave it be and keep an eye on it.

i agree with Ell, something like that will normally resolve itself. just keep an eye out for any unusual beahviour such as rubbing her nose on the viv/decor, or breathing through her (open) mouth.
