Just looked up the drz400,nice bike but it comes in at 40bhp @7600rpm. But the good news is that suzuki is offering free restrictor kits on this bike. |

hey dan, i done my bike test a couple of years ago now. i passed my test with a restricted licence, and got a GPZ500s with a restrictor kit. my licence just recently turned to a full one and i now have a honda firestorm with 110BHP standard, but obviously mine has been tweaked . if u want any advice on bikes i might be able to help you out, especially with the restriced ones.
oh, btw congrats and i wish you many years good riding |

Hey, thanks! Just googled the honda firestorm, verrrrrrry nice
Thanks for the links, Lee. Was a good read. And thats real cool that they're doing free restrictor kits. Anyone know how easy/difficult they are to fit? Would it have to be done at a proper garage? |

Gotta practice getting my knee down somehow. Me and my dad are planning a trip to the Nurburg Ring once I've got my bike. He's looking at getting a Mazda RX8 and we're gonna go play cat 'n' mouse for a day. Also gonna see who can go the fastest before they need to change their pants .
Once we've all got our bikes sorted we'll have to try and sort out a "The Corn Snake Forum" track day somewhere. |

I'm only under pedal-power at the moment. Best one on tarmac was the only time I've managed to do a somersault in my life when a car tried to drive through me. Pity I was unconscious at the time or I could have done one of those gymnastics type landings . As for the wipe-outs back in my mountain biking days.... they hurt but I think I was laughing too much at the time . |
