totally! My snake Alfie is quite good when in pre shed mode but he wouldnt let me touch him or even go near the viv during shed
you have to remember there skin is v tight and uncomfortable at the moment making them vulnerable because they are slower, blinder nd weaker. So naturally they are likely to jump if something unexpected comes near them
Well if i did mist the Snake it was truly UNINTENTIONAL i just lifted the hide to mist round it coz when hes inside it sometimes he rubs his head on the inside.. have i just done a bad thing
Not too bad, water won't hurt your snake. He probably just had a big fright when he was slashed with cold water- like you would be if someone sprayed you while you were in bed
misting shouldn't be necessary for corns although no harm done, probably just a bit of a shock like Kaz said. increasing the humidity can leave the snake open to infections such as RI's. it's generally best to leave them to shed naturally and only intervene if they have a patchy shed - a 10 min bath usually sorts that out
