Rie, you say that you are a corn snake grandparent, not a corn snake parent, But have you thought about being one?? Are you one of those people that say 'keep that thing away from me', but secretly would love to touch, hold and have one? And then have you done it when no one is around? Or do you like them, and like having them out but made Jazzy grovel and beg for weeks before you let him get one. Therefore you can't just go out an get one. Come on, give us all YOUR excuse for not having one of your own. |

Hi Kehhlyr, A friend of Jazzys had a corn which i held long before Jazzy did, She then decided she wanted one, I was happy to go go along with that (i was quite glad really). I think they are wonderful reptiles and have always enjoyed watching them on tv (big fans of crocodile hunter), but cant say i'd ever thought about owning one myself. I handle Rosa every day, as Jaz still not entirely sure yet about getting her out, as she stil goes abit mad. I can can honestly say i love her to bits. I watch her feed and go and look at her every time i go upstairs. So i guess you can say i am hooked and yes can see myself getting another one very soon. So my secret is out, hope that doesnt make me a bad grandparent ? |

I know this was a thread for Rie but i must say my parents are exactly the same. They were abit apprehensive when i said i wanted a snake but now ive got Angelina they love her. When im at home mums always popping in my room checking on Ange and always wants to hold her. I think people have the wrong perception of snakes and thats what we reptile owners are here for, to change their minds, lol. |
