i handle Angelina every day or two, i usually get her out when i see her snooping around the viv. i never get her out when shes in her hide because i want her to feel safe in there and by lifting it out loads might not be the best thing for that! |

I get mine out every night, in fact Kelloggs in with me on my bed now! The only one that hasn't been picked up for a while is Crunchy Nut, as she's due to lay soon. She still comes out though, I let her come out on her own, and have a wander around, then point her in the right direction to go back. Although I usually fail in that because if she wants to go that way, then she WILL go that way. I have a 3 year old step-grandaughter, and she loves them, so when she's about they come out more as well, there's nothing funnier than watching a child that's only about 2 and a half feet tall carrying a near 5 foot snake to mummy and wondering why mummy is jumping over the back of the sofa.
Every snake is different, and so is every owner, but the average seems to be about 30mins a day, mine are out for about 45 mins to and hour a day each. |

Harry is handled every day for about 10-15 minutes sometimes more, except after feeding or shedding period. |

I forgot about that. After feeding I don't handle them until they've had a poo, made that mistake once, and never will again. I also very rarely handle them when they're blue-eye, I believe that the act of going to pick them up when they are nearly blind could seem threatening to them. |

as long as they are getting exercise they are fine mine are out just about every day but that is due to needing too, most of mine need cleaning everyday as i have so many and they are kept on paper. also for the exercise as i keep my corns in a rack in conteco boxes and although they have enough room to move around i feel better knowing they have had a five minute run. also it would seem that one for the main factors of egg binding in a female is lack of exercise and poor musles tone so my ladies get a bit of an extra work out, touch wood i have never as of yet and to deal with an egg bound female in my own collection. |
