My new corn seemed to settle in realy well and was feeding great. Then refused the feed that was due 2 weeks ago but i then noticed that his eyes were blue and milky so didnt worry because he was about to shed... which he did nicely!! He shed on saturday night and i have offered him a mouse twice now! I normally feed in a plastic tub (like a cat litter tray, only deeper.)he wasnt interested so i left it on a big stone in his viv, and repeated process the next time too but still no luck!
How long after do like to feed in general??
This was the first shedding process i've experienced so am curious!!

THANKS

Difficult one to answer, all snakes are different. one of mine still likes to eat whenever she wants, regardless.
Just leave it a day or 2, just in case, then try again.

some will feed during shedding, others won't but most will eat afterwards. was the mouse warm enough? a suitable size? were there any distractios? sometimes my Carolina yearling is a shy feeder so i cover the tub she feeds in with a coat and leave her for 5-10 mins that usually does the trick

Just to prove GP's point, I fed Wiggle at 19:30 tonight, he ate 2 nice big rat pups, at 20:00 he started shedding and he's just finished.

Im afraid not, i tryed covering the top of the tub that i feed in, to give him some privacy but still not interested! The only thing i can think of is.... the last feed he did take was a small mouse, which was a size up from what he had been having! he took it fine and kept it down so maybe its just lasted him longer?? I am starting to worry now as he hasnt eatern since 2 november. I will give him a few more days and then i'll ring my rep vet and try and get some advice and see if he thinks i should take him in!!

Thanks for asking

Tango went 33 days without feeding when we first had him, but he was about 18mths old at the time and quite big for his age, so did not worry too much.

Since then, he sometimes feeds and sometimes doesn't and I try not to stress about it as he seems fine otherwise, except for not being too keen on being handled at mo' cos daughter not having him out as often as she should, so thinking of bringing him down to lounge where I can spend more time with him until she feels more comfortable with handling him when she's on her own.

I find that the more I try to feed Tango every few days, the less likely he is to take it... so keep it to trying him only on Sundays now... would probably only change that if I noticed him really rattling round his viv a lot, as they tell me that is hunting behaviour.

Owners always get a lot more stressed over the not eating than the snakes do

Congrats.
