I wasn't really given advice on how to feed when I got Dusk as he was just sort of given to me so I would feed him in his hatchling box as it was easy. When I got him a new home I continued to feed him in his hatchling box so he didn't eat his substrate and so as he grows he will never associate me sticking my hand in with being fed.
Its also a great excuse to get your pet out for a play before being fed and the container can be cleaned and kept germ free easily between meals.

if you're feeding them out of the Viv how do you go about getting them back in so they don't get stressed and regurgetate the food?

picking them up and popping them back in the viv is minimal handling for a matter of seconds and isn't likely to cause regurge if done sympathetically

To get Dusk back in I open the door to his viv, pop his feeding tub next to it and he goes in by himself straight away. I had to give him a nudge to begin with but I guess he's used to it now.

especially if they're used to having multiple mice - i always leave them a good 5 mins or so after they've finished the last mouse so they know it's my hand not the next course.

Handling straight after is unlikely to cause a regurge, as any snake catching food in the wild, is likely to move away once it has eaten.

I thought about that GP but the cardboard box i use is barely a box. It is about 2 inches high My dad has an old fish tank so i might nick that as a feeding tank.
