Ive noticed that most on here feed in tubs...

Is that because its following advice?
Because of the type of substrate you have in the viv (ingestion etc)?
The size of your viv?
Having a young/small snake?
You have experienced problems with viv feeding?
Will you always feed in a tub, even when 4-5 foot long?
You were told by the seller that the snake is used to tub feeding?
Better to view it eating?
Easier?

Just general `getting a feel` questions.

I feed all of mine in their vivs because it is just easier for me to do that, but on paper to avoid compaction problems.

I feed my corn in his viv as I have a large stone at the hot end that keeps nice and warm and I just place the mouse/rat pup on the stone and he eats it off it.

My BRB feeds in a tub due to the moss/bark substrate getting everywhere.

My Royal feeds in his viv because that's the only place he will feed and he strikes and it never gets near the substrate anyway (which is only Aspen too).

I have decided what to do with my new Royal (getting tomorrow), but will probably try and feed out of her viv.

I feed out of Viv for several reasons.

1: mine are messy eaters sometimes and mouse guts everywhere is common.
2: less risk of eating substrate.
3: I don't want them to associate eating with my hand going into the Viv. The previous owners of Sid done it, and she goes for me most times my hand goes into the viv.
4: When taking pictures or filming, it's easier. Not as nice looking, but easier.
5: I have Young children and grandchildren that LOVE watching them eat, so to have 3 or 4 kids around a rub on the coffee table is easier too.

As for Kehhlyr but without the number 4 reason!
oh and reason 5 is just small child not 'grandchildren'!!!
and another reason is that the corns co-habit so need to feed separately.

Queenie is fed in his RUB as he lives on his own, there are no substrate issues and as BE said about Rocky - it's the only place to get him to feed, same goes for Marilyn

I feed Henry on a peice of cardboard (always the same peice) becuse I dont want her to ingest and substrate. Its also easier to see and take photos. Like kehhlyr, I get alot of mouse guts too.

Zavvi is fed in her rub (kitchen roll substrate), but i am going to try her on a differant peice of card board when she is next due a feed.

I started feeding skittles on the living room carpet because if you feed them in the viv they could swallow the substrate and its easier to get him to eat as he has no where to hide on the mat whereas in his viv he hides under a rock and wint eat so i cant get the fluff anywhere near him without having to chase him around and move everything.

We feed all ours outside the viv, except Evra and that's because she won't eat outside like BEs Royal, but we are trying to get her out to feed.

The others feed outside for the same reasons Kehhlyr mentioned except the little kiddie one. Kids smell!

Mine are fed in tubs.
Cause i use the water method to defrost rodents, so the aspen sticks to the mice/rat.
I also think it gets them used to coming out to be fed.

ATB gets fed in his tank though, he's a slightly picky feeder.
