Does anyone here know if any other reps etc will eat snails?
I ask because i had eggs from my giant africans, that i was gonna use for other things then didn't.
After keeping them for a little to long, the eggs hatched so i now have about 300 baby snails to get rid of.
If they're any good for food for anyones animal, then i'll post them off, if not then in the freezer they go.
Likewise, if anyone wants as a pet, let me know. i can take piccys of them now and of mums/dads to show sizes. |

I think Skinks can eat snails as well as toads.
Some birds would too, ducks, herons waterfowl.
Possibly hedgehogs too. |

I think Skinks can eat snails as well as toads.
Some birds would too, ducks, herons waterfowl.

As to a few as pets EmmaApple, i wouldn't recommend more than 2, because like Kaz says, they breed so much.
They're hermaphrodites, so you get 2 sets of eggs, usually around 300 a time.
I don't mind posting them, if bluetonguedan wants them for his skinks, if not then they're gonna get frozen.
In regards to being to far away EmmaApple, i had mine posted to me as babies last year, from mid-wales.
They seem to travel ok, and that was in STANDARD uk first class post!! |
