Good point, love the look of some of the arboreal snakes, but could never be bothered with one.

this other guy's jap rat had escaped whilst with it's previous owner and been feral for a considerable length of time before it was captured again. from talking to various experts they do need regular handling from an early age and they usually tame down but try starting handling them as adults and you're on a loser.

I wouldn't want a venomous snake- Nagini is bad enough just being fiesty. If she was deadly too, she'd not get any attention.

I don't think it's fair to keep a snake your afraid to handle- what would be the point?

All the fun of keeping snakes is that you can wear them around your neck while net nerding or keep them down your top to freak visitors out

haha, do your friends like you snakes or not? Most of mine are scared whitless of them, makes finding snake sitters very difficult.
