hey guys, im interested in getting two leopard geckos and wondered whether leos could be feed solely on a diet of Zoo Med Repti Cricket. they are dried crickets see: http://www.reptiles.swelluk.com/reptile-supplies/reptile-food-412/dry-reptile-foods-439/zoo-med-repti-cricket-25760.html once in a while id also feed live food however. the reason unfortunately, is that i dont think the parents would be too happy with live crickets in the household. obviously i dont want to risk the health of the reptile. you advice would rock.
I use live food and never tried these so i can't comment. I think that mealies would be better as they are live food so will have a better nutritional value than dead crickets. Also they dont make a noise and like daxb said they will be easy to hide. Just hide them outside in a shed or something. If you keep them colder they will last longer. Just remove them from the fcold place about 30 mins before feeding. Hope this helps you ari

thanks guys. i've been reading that some lizards simply dont take to canned foods. this could be a problem depending on the leos personality i suppose. hmm.. decisions.. decisions
