For one thing, what a tremendously excellent word: Sphagnum.
Also! I ordered a bag of it on eBay to make a humid hide for Ruby. It arrived today and, much to my surprise, it looks like it's just been freshly hand-picked from the side of a hill! It's really lovely stuff, but I'm a bit concerned about using it as it's from outside. I've taken a handful and poured boiling water through it in an attempt to kill anything which might still be crawling around in there. Will this be enough to make is safe to use in the hide or do I need to do anything extra? Thanks, as always!

0.1.0 fire corn (Ruby)
0.0.6 lemon tetras (O'Neill, Jackson, Hammond, Teal'c, Quinn, Hank)
0.0.4 siamese algae Eaters (Pogo, Jimmy, Leo, Fatty Ding Dong)
0.0.2 stone catfish (Mark, Jez)

All of my chicken/pork chops are in them as well. I giggle every time I open the freezer *facepalm*
