another addition you could make is the number of prey it was fed. |

Just seen this, I wouldn't mind having a play, one thing that would be useful, certainly for other breeders too, bulk feeding, instead of having to do each snake individually, 80 babies is gonna be a lot of time updating on the pc, and I get bored quickly!! Would like to give it a go pls, mikerichards360@hotmail.com

Another thought, can you include a field for the snake morph, because I don't name them! Ta |

This the first time i've had a look at this thread since you have had it all up and running properly.
Its looking pretty good, wouldn't mind having a little go on it myself if you don't mind. My hotmail address is danny-b-2007-@hotmail.co.uk.

I think I've sent everyone a copy who has asked for one, apologies if not, been really busy with gcse's so I haven't been on here much, I also haven't had time to work on it much due to this.
Last exam is next week so I'll come up with a list of suggested things and if theyre what everyone thinks would be good will add them.
Thanks for all the feedback and positive comments :) |

Had a quick look, looks like an awesome little program for most, but for me i wont be using it, not because its bad, but because i have 34 snakes, editting each one everytime i feed is gonna take too long. I think for someone who has one or two snakes, its a blinding bit of kit, certainly well laid out and easy to use.
How good are you with excel, or writing something similar into a program? am just thinking for people who have a lot of animals, about a way that could be much quicker to use, and you would end up with a spreadsheet type thing that could be printed if the snake was sold. Just an idea

To be honest mike, although something similar could be programmed in excel that you print off, your best off just using excel to be really honest.
A well designed spreadsheet will probably be better than this for the number of animals your talking about, however if you do need such a spreadsheet then I could produce one in an excel format for you.
Any program which uses excel features requires you to have excel installed, so it wouldn't allow people that don't have excel to have a spreadsheet thing (Unless I made my own which would take months and just isn't worth it when there are so many alternatives). |

That's fine mate, its a cracking little program though! I used to be good with excel, but I have little interest in trying to get it to do what I want, would be a nightmare! |

Oh yeah sorry lee I never got round to telling you, I did try to email you a copy but for some reason it wouldn't work. Some providers are a little dodgey about you sending or reciving .exe files, had this very problem with anyone that uses gmail. If you have or could possibley set up a hotmail account (Never fails to send with this) Then I will get you a copy asap :) |
