2 hatched and 36 to go (but only 21 of those are my own)... starting to worry a bit over where to put all the babies as my racks can hold a max of 400 young and i have almost 500 eggs in the incubator...
Gonna have my friends come ofer and pick up their eggs i think ..lol

Dont hate me for saying this Polcher....but they do look a bit like a box full of pink worms ready to use as bait in fishing !!

It is amazing seeing them so small and so many of them at once. I would guess that 20 hatched out of 22 eggs is a good result??

You certainly will have your hands full - I cant even begin to imagine caring for those 20 with them doing their first sheds and feeds....let alone the 500 !

They are really cute and so pink. I guess we get used to the hatchlings having quite strong contrasting patterns so its lovely to see these.

I can imagine feeding time is manic. how long does it take to feed all the babies

When all hatchlings are out i spend 2-3 hours every evening taking care of them. The feeding is the easy part, usually just takes 6-8 hours total so thats taken care of in 2-3 days, but the cleaning takes a lot of time and there is always a box to clean and water to refill.
