| Am back up late again! I've got work in the morning too this time, really should go to bed! Although I'm relegated to the sofa tonight as my girlfriend is ill and needs all the sleep she can get (I'm a bad snorer!). Don't think I'll be getting much sleep tonight, our rats are going nuts, no doubt just to keep me awake! |

| well i had intended to go to bed early tonight but you know what they say about best laid plans. Just as i switched the laptop off i had a phonecall from my mum. Now my mum is usually in bed before 9 so to get a call from her at 11 is very unusual. Her smoke alarm was going off, and not just the annoying pips when the battery is going dead. The smoke alarm was only replaced a few weeks ago. Everytime my dad switched it off, 10 minutes later after it had reset it went off again. So we went through the possible options and decide to ring the non emergency number for derbyshire fire n rescue. They sent an appliance out and they checked the house and the loft and think its just a faulty smoke alarm so they have taken it out.They have moved the downstairs alarm to the upstairs so if that one goes off then they know there is something brewing. All good now tho so hopefully we can all get off to bed. |
