Nice to see some chat going on so late at night! A hidden rep room....what a dream that would be....especially if it was hidden from the OH!

It'll be hidden anyway, most of the reps are going upstairs into the big bedroom. The missus wont be going up there all that often.
I have plans for the place, but as to how easy those plans are is totally different.

I'm gonna be setting up a specific viv purely for growing reptile safe plants, see what decent strong ones I can produce.

Sounds like a fantastic plan Kehhlyr, to have a space purely for your reps and enough room to even have a viv specifically for growing plants! You realise we will need to have pics of it once it is all set up ?!

Hope the move is proceeding as planned and not stressing anyone out too much....

I was tempted to set up my python viv with live plants, but to be honest i am too busy to grow them on with any degree of success so i would probably of just bought them from here. http://www.dartfrog.co.uk

If i do go the phib route with the new viv i may well be more tempted with the live route + woodies and springtails. We shall see.

Isn't there an increased chance of mites and nasty things when you do thoe whole soil/woodies etc route? (I know it's before midnight, but still!)

Nope, the mites that snakes get are snake specific so there is no increased risk of your snakes getting mites when using wood lice and springtails in a naturalistic enclosure. You would still of had to of brought them in to have your snake become infested.

One thing i will say though, if you did get mites having to clear out your enclosure fully would be a bit of a bugger!

You should see two blank cameras on the left and the chat room window on the right. It should show you a login box where you can stick your name and join the chat room.

If you cannot see it, all i can think to suggest is to update the version of java you are using.

/EDIT. also, firefox is better than IE, it tells you to upgrade if you need to.. plus is just better all around if you ask me. :D

The name can be anything, but as it runs on a public IRC network some names may already be taken so you may have to choose something different.
Alternatively if any proper old schoolers are out there would prefer to connect via an IRC client then gaz me and i'll give you the network/channel names.

We saw you listed as being in there under the name 'Missed'.
If you just type in 'Missed' instead of your full username as the client doesn't recoqnise spaces in the names.
Also the password bit isn't needed unless you've registered your nickname on the chat client.

Possibly the java client had just clitched when you came in, give it another go.

What web browser and operating system are you using if it still doesn't work.
