thought i might get a better response on the conr snake,anyone know any rep vets in the southampton area? morris has devoloped a squeaky nose looking at his nose you can see theres somthing in his nostril the other one is clear, im not sure if its retained shed or an RI but he has been off his food (i know this can be normal) but he has lost a bit of weight aswell, temps are around 30c meassured with a digi probe not sure on humidity but theres no condensation in his rub if that helps |

Am not sure about Reptile vets in your area but you could try checking out our Members map, which also includes vets that have been recommended - http://www.thecornsnake.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=2695&SearchTerms=Reptile+vets
30oC is a bit high for the warm side, you really want it averaging 28oC for a healthy set-up.
It may be an idea to put a topic in the health section giving as much detail about Morris as possible so that those with some knowledge of health can give you some advice - how old your snake is, when it last shed (so we can ascertain whether it may be retained shed), how much weight lost, how long he has been off his food....anything you think is relevant.

There's one near me, a very good one actually, in Bournemouth. I believe there is one in/near Portsmouth as well, but don't hold me to that as I've never had confirmation seeing as mine is less then 2 miles away. |
