is a 3ft tank ok for an adult corn snake and if so, how wide does it have to be?thanks

Totally depends on the length of the adult.
I have a 3.5ft adult that would be happy in that size viv, but I also have a 5.5t one (same age, they hatched within a month of each other) that wouldn't be as happy. Use the guide of The length of the snake to be equal to the front and one side of the viv and that should have your snake in a nice sized viv for it, not to big and not to small, just right.
/edit my 3.5ft female would be happy in something like a 36x12x12(inch) viv, but the 5.5ft is happier in a 48x18x18 (inch). |
