My hubby informed me that since he is not a snake person and we are moving to the desert, he'd rather have bearded dragons. I like that idea too. I still might end up getting another corn after all, but I'm excited about the beardies too. Something new to learn.

Beardies are great, bit more costly to feed and run than corns, but fantastic personalities.

Beardies certainly cost more to feed, especially young ones who can eat for England!!! They do have super personalities tho' and are very entertaining! I wouldn't want to be without our Izzy.
On the other hand how can you be without a snake? Just think of all the de-stress therapy you'll have to pay for without a snake massage!!!!
Ummmm, have to agree with everyone else, one of each has to be the best way forward.

Im with Baggage!!

Hubby IS a snake man but doesnt really do much wit Slinky... so I asked him why and he shrugged the question off- so I asked as a joke "Is she not big enough for you to be interested in yet?" (think haha!) and he replied "Yes"

So when Slinky is a big girl he will have more inclination to handle her!

I originally wanted a beardie but the temperature adjustments frightened me away, so I'm happy with a beardie too. I haven't totally given up on my corns.

You will never totally give up on your corns Godzchild. You may get a beardie to begin with but you know that, in time, you wont be able to resist that corn calling to you....especially one that is in need of a good home - and that is a great excuse to use with your OH....that you would be rescuing a corn so therefore it is a selfless act !
