I was just wondering about this.
I know that most chameleons that can cahnge colour, change colour depending on their mood or stress levels, and only a few change colour for the purpose of camouflage.
Are there any species readily available in the pet trade that change colour to match their surroundings? the only one i could find was the Smith's Dwarf Chameleon which is Critically Endangered so not easily obtained as a pet. |
