I see other ppl's corns and was jus wanderin how long it'll take for mine to get nice and big...when i say big i mean say 5 - 6 feet and say over and inch in width.

For example the dazb posted pics on 'why guards are essential' (u can see it near the top of the general keeping information page) and was wanderin how old that one is I like that size he looks pretty cool!

Obviously i know its not all about the size of the snake as long as its healthy but jus was wandering what length they should be at what age etc!

I have 3 corns and the biggest is 3 ft exactly and is about a 1 and a half years old does that sound normal or is he over/under sized?

They can vary quite a lot.
My 2 oldest are about 9 years old, one is touching 6ft, the other is only about 4ft.
my 3rd is about 7 years old and is about 4ft.

The sizes of cornsnakes can be very different.

As Kehhlyr said, it can vary. I have an 8 year old who is about 5 and a half foot and a 7 year old that is just about 4ft maybe a little less.

Snakes grow throughout their life but the most growing they do is in the first 3 years (I think...someone will have to correct me!) and then they slowly grow after that.

A very special super, duper thanks for K :3

You can take into account where they originate from as well, corns come from south eastern to eastern coasts/states of the us, corns that come from the south eastern region are round about 3 - 3 1/2 feet where as the more north up the states you go, Georgia, the Carolinas the bigger they, 5-6'. But then obviously taking into account being captive bred it could be really random.
