Only saw the first half as had a meeting that night....but the bit that I couldnt understand was that supposedly he was doing this to research how his body reacted to venom etc, but he had been doing it for 20 years and had only just seen any medical professionals about it???
Maybe it is cos I didnt see end but it did confuse me a bit, from everything I have heard the more you are bitten the more hypersensitive you become to the venom - my brother has a friend who works in a reptile park in SA and he says that if he is bitten once more he knows he could die as he has been bitten so much.... Maybe it is the way this guy did it, starting with very small amounts and building it up so therefore building up an immunity???
I would guess he doesnt have an OH or kids or family because, to be honest, he is dicing with death every time he injects and he doesnt really seem to care. It is supposedly for medical research but I am not so sure....
But, as I said, I only saw the first half so maybe the second half proved me wrong....
