Poor cobra, Monocled Cobras are possibly my favourite too. Bit of a hefty fine.

I guess it is easier to keep venemous snakes over in Germany.

wooow thats a biiiig fine (although how on earth can ya be stupid enough to let it escape in the 1st place) but that poor snake

Monocled Cobra's are gawjus aswell poor thing :(

That is awful to hear....that poor snake really came to a 'sticky ending' (sorry, had to get in there before Kehhlyr did!). But I am being serious....what an awful way for that snake to die, exhausted and caught on double sided sticky tape .

I wonder how the cobra escaped? If it was the owner's fault then I am afraid that he deserves all that cost! He should have been more careful, especially considering the fact that it was a venomous snake.

Can you imagine the panic that would cause in this country considering the reaction to the escaped MBK near Hiper !!

This quote did make me smile though - "Everything has had a happy end," a spokesman for the town of Muelheim in western Germany said. "Not for the snake but for us.".....am not sure the owner felt it was a happy ending!
