There is a MBK Loose like 5 streets away from me i read it in the paper like a few days ago was very shocked to be honest , Here is the link.

Read the comments they are silly , the snake has now been spotted 2 streets away from me , hope it comes my way so i can put in RUB and feed it then give to rspca  |

Just wondering, do you have anywhere you could set up a hide with food in for the snake. Maybe a shed/outhouse/utility room, with a cat flap that you could secure, and try to lure the poor fellow in for food. I know it's all going to cause the snake stress but it must be freaked out already! At least if you could catch it you could phone the RSPCA.

I have set up a custom made bottle trap with a weaner rat in it enough to fit a big snake in to it coverd it with a dark box and ive put in my garden and im currently making another one to put in another area 2 streets away, I hope i do catch it and then i can put it in a tempory RUB with heat matt and feed it up until the RSPCA come or i will get (Dave) from Scales n Tails to pick it up he is owner of the reptile shop. |

| Forgot to mension i will be putting heat pads in to the box's so its a lil warmer for it until i can get it and hope it stays in the trap i made it. I feeel very sorry for this poor MBK it must be very stressed and hungry , i dont want the ppl around here trying to kill it as i know what Indian people are like , Im half indian & half white but they just over react about the whole thing and i think its sick i don't like the sound of the RSPCA having it to be honest i would prefer to give it to the Reptile shop that i bought my 2 snakes from as i know he will give it the proper care it needs. |

Poor snake, I hope he is ok. Could do with those disposable hand warmers to pop in a trap for it.
The Twycross zoo comment is the worse, they should know better, maybe someone should introduce them to the concept of soap and water and washing your hands.
Unless the original owner owns up to it maybe Shaun727 can come get it from you if you find it, he is looking for MBK isnt he and Northamptonshire is right next to Leicestershire isnt it? For the cost of the train he can save the cost of the snake lol |

Ive already told the RSPCA if the MBK is Unclaimed then they said it will go to me but they need and we need to catch it first |

How ridiculous can some people be. I understand that some people don't like snakes but talk about goin over the top. Although some of the comments did give me my chuckle for the night.
I really hope you find it Hiper. Once you get it you could always let the RSPCA know but offer to foster it for them until it is either reclaimed or signed over to you. To be honest, with the publicity I would have thought that whoever had lost it would have come forward by now. |

I agree but you see what i think now is that who ever had the MBK must have relised it rather then it escaped other wise they would have came forward by now to say oh thats my MBK but no one has said anything like that yet. |

| Maybe it's a different kind of snake altogether! We all know how people exaggerate everything so the 6ft is only guessed at, could be considerably less. Black may be brown, who knows? That would perhaps explain why nobody has come forward to claim it... just a thought. |
