im sorry SB but that isnt a vanishing stripe at all. the stripes would only be about 5cm long if it was vanishing stripe.
i would have a guess at it being a normal stripe ... maybe an amel stripe |

The stripes don't continue anywhere near all the way down, the back half is pretty much solid in colour, no stripe at all, is it still a stripe?
Hypo stripe eh? |

What was it sold to you as?
By your description it sounds a little like a miami stripe but without i a pic that shows his colours properly it is really hard to tell. |

At first i thought either normal or hypo stripe, but SB says that the picture dosn't show the colours very well and it is actually a lilac type colour with with dark red stripes. |

Miami stripe doesn't exist as far as I know, miami isn't a morph so can't br bred reliably into morphs. Sounds like a normal motley stripe, possibly hypo but I haven't seen a hypo stripe for a comparison. Is there any bleeding of colour into the belly? |

miami is a wild type just like a carolina or 'normal' with which it's been possible to create stripes so no reason to not have a miami stripe.... |
